Continuous Community Learning
We were told that we will be having a session on cloud computing , ohhh! what is cloud computing (aahhh something related to web and servers, not clear),no clear picture. well it was our senior Jagganath and his colleague's who took this session. I think the session was very good , in terms of knowledge as well as the level of comfort that they gave us so that we can interact freely. The seminar started with an introductory part, to let us understand the basics, with some power point presentations. The session was disciplined as well as fun, everything was taken care of, Oh, yes the chocolate questions, how can i forget, there were chocolates for those who answer some important questions (I got one). At the end of the session , we were clear about cloud computing , however the project E-traq baffled us, they explained us about the charts in the project, but forgot to tell basically, what is a chart? And about e-traq, i was not able to quite understand it, may be it was due to lack to time we had..
hey guys what do you all think, do reply..

first of all we thank you and appreciate for putting feedback..We are glad to know that the comfort was well since it is one of the key thing for healthy interaction to begin. Even we enjoyed the session since you guys were interactive.
We couldn`t talk much about E-TRAQ since there was lack of time as you pointed. It was almost 2 hour plus and we didnt wanted to stretch it more..But we will be glad to talk more about E-TRAQ and its modules in details if u can gather interested people together. Also make sure you go through the following links please -
1) Project Development & Evaluation Monitoring System (Idea Camp E...
2) E-TRAQ Group
Also we can give u short kick-off session for Google App Engine....i have spoken about this with Abhijit Singh and Nitin Keswani...Let us know about it.
P.S - the name is Jagannath. call me jagz :) and my colleagues name is purnima.
I have asked everyone to reply in Ggroups if they wish to continue with ETraq.. Hoping for an early reply.. :)

Very interesting. If there are groups interested in picking up e-traq this is the best time, when the original founders are still in college :-). There are many many enhancements that i could propose once a team is ready to take it up.

hi,
Eager to start the project early. The cloud computing session was nice & informative.
I think 9 students want to do this project.
I think we need to have a close encounter with e-traq . Need to understand the scope and limitations of it..to cum with new ideas.
As kaushik sir & team 9 are there to guide half the tension is gone...
