6 Steps to Getting Started on Peepaal

As an Industry Professional or as a Student it is easy to get started with Peepaal. Here is a quick 6 step process to get started

Step 1. Register for Peepaal
It is free, easy and takes less than a minute to get registered and get started with your own profile. Since you can use your existing facebook, gmail or yahoo accounts to get registered its even faster. Just click on the Sign Up link on the Home Page and you can get started.

Step 2. Update your Profile
As a first step make sure you update your profile and upload a profile image and include additional details on Branch, Specialization and Areas of Interest. A well updated profile helps immensely for us to build a strong network of like minded individuals and connect with each other. Please add a picture or an avatar it really adds personality to all our interactions.

Step 3. Introduce yourself to the Community
Respond to our Introduce Yourself post on the Forum and put in more details about yourself, your interests and how you would like to get involved with the community.

Step 4. Read the Discussions Forums and Start Posting
Start by reviewing the discussion forums where we drive most of the activities and check for posts of your interests and start responding or putting in your questions and comments. If you prefer put in a new discussion forum post, do make sure you are not duplicating any existing post. All discussion forums are open for everyone and there is no approval process for posts so do make sure you use the forums appropriately. Check the forums http://peepaal.org/forum

Step 5. Read the Blogs and start making your own Blog Posts
Our Blogs are reserved for quality content and goes through a review and approval process. We do encourage all our community members to review the Blogs and start contributing if they have specific areas that they would like to contribute on. The current areas where we are looking for active Bloggers are on all aspects related to Projects(Ideas, Process, Execution, Demo) and Cloud Computing. Step 6. Join a group that you are interested in
We have a list of groups joining together individuals interested in a specific area, join a group so that you get notified about events in that specific area. Currently we have a limited set of groups and groups will be formed based on enough interest generated in an area and a group owner who can drive activity in a group.
