1.IDEA :
Problem Statement and Scope
One of the feature that’s not available on Linkedin site.
-Some small companies with small startups do not really thrive on Linkedin and did not bother to create their profile pages.

The system would add this feature of posting the companies along with using the Linkedin features.

Initially the system would be made college specific app.
Another feature that is not available on the site is the rating of the companies.
This feature would be added by allowing the users to post companies and giving ratings to them.
The users would be able to view the companies with ratings.

Novelty of Idea –
• The users would be able to login into the system with their Linkedin ids and passwords.
• Each users profile information would be retrieved. As a result there would not be a need of creating user accounts and their profiles.
• Along with using the Linkedin facilities the users would be able to add the companies and give ratings to them.

Relevance and Applications –
• The system will enable applicants to gain efficient information about the organization in no time.
• The users can post the small scale companies which do not actually thrive on Linkedin site.
• Similarly the users can view the companies with ratings. This will help them to be aware of small industries as well.

2. SOLUTION :
The technology layer includes -
• Platform – Google App engine
• LinkedIn APIs

The below mentioned problem is solved. We are able to reflect the change and even the Sign In plugin.
To restrict the access to Wadians only, searched if we can retrieve email id which the user uses to log in, but couldn't find any API relating to this.

Today we had our first presentation. It was good.

We have asked seniors to put their views. Few have already done that.
