1. Idea
Problem Statement and ScopeWhile using BPEL and Apache ODE as a workflow engine for making the placement project, We encountered many problems also in future it could not be used to deploy the whole project on Google App Engine due to certain insufficiencies. We propose to design one such work flow engine for Google app engine which will be at user's ease and all they have to do in future is just design it according to their own requirements and get their project going in few minutes "PLACEMENT MANAGER" here after will just be an example of it.
Novelty of Idea
Google doesn't have anything like this setup right now on app engine, and it could really prove to be something new and very helpful for everyone to have a workflow engine setup on the app engine
Relevance and ApplicationsSince there are many applications that follow a certain workflow which needs a great deal of coding at present with Google app engine at present, it will be quite relevant an application for many users
2. Solution
JAVA, JSP and servlets (front end) SQL (backend, may change as per requirements)
3.R&D
It can be further used to design it specifically for a business or personal needs
Improves on existing solution/Provides a new solutionSince there is no existing such engine. Its going to be the first of its kind.

Comment by Roshan Nagekar on March 27, 2011 at 8:33pm Sir,
We were not able to use JDO.... Objectify was something totally new so we thought we might have had to start with scratch again.
I came across JPA with some sample executable code of it.... and also its very similar to JDO so we may go forward with JPA.... here's the link of a sample that runs pretty well....

Should be able to input an xml directly from a textbox on your application. Also give sample examples of the XMLs that can be entered into the application. The next step would be provide a screen where we can indicate the status of each task so that it can be updated.
